Abstract

This editorial marks the beginning of the journal’s second decade and offers an institutional overview of its development. It reviews the main structural decisions adopted since 2019, including the implementation of continuous publication, the diversification of reading formats, and the professionalization of the peer review process. Particular emphasis is placed on the sustained development of a metadata policy aimed at full interoperability, both through OAI-PMH and Crossref records, under the conviction that editorial quality is also expressed through the descriptive quality of contents. The text also transparently explains the journal’s diamond open access sustainability model, detailing its real costs, material limits, and its basis in personal funding. Finally, the second decade is presented as a stage of consolidation, technical refinement, and renewed commitment to quality, editorial integrity, and the effective circulation of scientific knowledge.

Author Biography

  • Rocío Silveira de Andrade, Universidad Argentina de la Empresa

    Public sworn translator of English, graduated from the Universidad Argentina de la Empresa. Master’s candidate in Discourse Analysis at the University of Buenos Aires and lawyer. She has carried out numerous Spanish–English translations and proofreading of scientific articles, including “Tantric Buddhism in Buenos Aires: A Case Study of Secular Religiosity among Young People,” “Traveling the ‘Southern Routes’: Esoteric Buddhism in Maritime Asia, 7th–13th Centuries CE,” and “Development and the Role of the Provinces: A New Role for Provincial States in Economic Development,” among others. She specializes in research methodology and is responsible for the final proofreading of articles accepted for publication.
