Abstract

This work is a bibliographic compilation that relates two variables: Quality of Life and Coping Strategies. The first of these variables is understood as the individual's perceptions of their position in life, in a given time and space, in the context of the culture and the value system in which they live. In relation to your goals, expectations, standards, and concerns. While, the second variable as the constantly changing cognitive and behavioural efforts that are carried out to manage, and overcome the specific external and / or internal situations that are evaluated as surplus or overflowing of the individual's resources. That said, the present study through a bibliographic review has been able to account for a highly positive relationship in the variables, since, by having greater coping tools, the individual manages to perceive greater satisfaction with his life. In turn, this relationship between variables is coupled with numerous studies and interdisciplinary integration programs that aim to generate an integrative view of the experience of patients and their families.
