Abstract

In the present work we will find, based on a bibliographic review on selected academic articles from the last decade, the way in which coping strategies appear as significant variables in typical family problems related to the couple, domestic violence, parenting and divorce, mediating between stressful events and their impact on the well-being of the family system. It is concluded that coping strategies mediate between stressors and the health of the family as a group and of its members individually.
